Shobha Kapoor is a film and television producer from India and the Managing Director of the much acclaimed Balaji Telefilms, a serial production house based in Mumbai. It is now run by her talented daughter Ekta Kapoor. Shobha mainly takes care of the production and administration activities of the company. She has co-produced many cult Hindi serials such as ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ also from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ from 2001 to 2008 and ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’ from 2001 to 2004. She is married to veteran actor Jeetendra, and they have two kids, Tusshar Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor. Shobha and Jeetendra were dating each other for 13 years before their wedding, and former was working as an air-hostess then. 

Ekta Kapoor; a legendry producer in Indian TV and film industry was born on 7 June 1975 in India. She is basically the creative director and Joint Managing Director of her production company Balaji Telefilms. She is the daughter of Shobha Kapoor and actor Jeetendra. Tusshar Kapoor, his brother is also working in Bollywood movies. She completed her early studies from Bombay Scottish School Mahim and went to college Mithibai.

Ms. Kapoor has produced many wonderful soap opera, unforgettable movies and long remembered tv series. Ekta began her Bollywood career as producer in 2001 started with Kyo Kii Main Jhuth Nahi Bolta and Kucch to hai. Her one of the very famous movie Krishna Cottage broke many records and still remains most favorite. She is also known by her block buster movies Once Upon a time in Mumbai, Dirty Picture, Shootout at Wadala, Once Upon a time in Mumbai dobara, Eik Villan, C Kkompany and Ek Thi Daayan.
