Neelam Gandhi is a Gujarati actress regularly seen in Hindi TV serials. She was first noticed in the serial Chhoti Bahu as Chanda. It was a serial telecast on Zee TV during 2008 to 2012. it had two seasons, the first one named as Chhoti Bahu-Sindoor Bina Suhagan and the second season as Chhoti Bahu-Sawar Ke Rang Rachi. It was produced by Tony Singh and Deeya Singh for DJ's Creative Unit and was an extremely popular serial. It is still being rerun on Zee Anmol in India and Zee Lamhe in the UK. The series was popular not only in India but was also popular in Mauritius, Malayasia, South Africa , Russia etc. it was dubbed in Tamil as Chhinna Marumagal and telecast on Zee Tamil. Neelam, though in a small role performed very well and her acting was highly appreciated in the show.

She was again seen in the role of Bubli Srichand Srivastava in the serial Kairi-Rishta Khatta Meetha which was telecast on Colors channel during 2012. it was produced by Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal and directed by Deepak Chauhan and others. It was the story of a girl who has to fight for her rights with her mother in law and the consequences arising out of the situation. Neelam in her supporting role performed pretty well and her performance was highly appreciated by all. 

She has also acted in Vibhuti, Badalte Rishton Ki Dastan etc and presently she is performing in Aur Pyar Ho Gaya on Zee TV where she is portraying the role of Devika, the best friend of the female protagonist Avni.

He gave up on acting because of Raj Khosla, a filmmaker who convinced him to pursue direction.
