Anang Desai was born on May 4, 1953 at Ahmedabad. He is married to ‘Chitra Desai’, who is a lawyer and has two sons. He went to ‘National School of Drama’, Delhi to hone his acting skills and graduated in 1978. He then, for the next 8 years, remained connected to institute’s Theater Company.
He started his acting career with his debut appearance in the Oscar winning Hollywood movie, ‘Gandhi’. The movie was released in 1982, wherein he performed the role of ‘J.B Kriplani’. Since then, he had acted in around 85 Bollywood movies. He has performed almost all types of characters in his 3 decades of Bollywood career.
He has also been working for TV industry since 1987, when he appeared in the political TV series, ‘Raj Se Swaraj’. The next year, he did a few episodes of all time hit Tele series, ‘Bharat Ek Khoj’ as ‘Raja Ram Mohan Roy’ and as ‘Ibrahim Lodi’. This historical drama was aired during 1988, on Doordharshan or DD National, as it is currently known as. In his illustratious career, he had worked with top Indian directors including Shyam Benegal, Subhash Ghai, Mahesh Bhatt and Satish Kaushik among others. He has acted in more than eighty TV-shows so far. The last year, he was seen in a Psychological thriller ‘Main Naa Bhoolungi’ as ‘Mahanto Jagannath’. The serial has been aired from Dec 2013 and recently been concluded during the month of Aug 2014 on Sony TV. Currently he is busy in doing a TV sitcom, titled, ‘Chandrakant Chiplunkar Seedi Bambawala’ where in he is performing the role of ‘Hasubai Mehta’. The show has started on 18th Aug 2014 and is running on SAB TV.
He won two Star Pariwar awards for the role of ‘Tulsidas Parekh’ aka ‘Babuji’ in the TV sitcom, ‘Khichdi’. The serial was broadcasted from 2002 to 2004 on Star Plus. The second season was named as ‘Instant Khichdi’ wherein he again donned the role of ‘Tulsidas Parekh’ but this time the TV series was broadcasted on Star One (a sister channel of Star Plus) from 2005 to 2006. This was followed by the movie with the same name, ‘Khichdi: The Movie’ which was released during Oct 2010 and rated as average. In the movie, he again performed the role of ‘Tulsidas Parekh’ aka ‘Babuji’.

Ronit Roy (Ronit Bose Roy) was born on 11th October 1965, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. He became a popular in the industry after his character “Rishabh Bajaj” in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He is a Bollywood actor and popular Indian Television actor, best known for his portrayal of Rishabh Bajaj, Mihir Virani and Aparajit Deb. He currently acting in the Hindi TV serial Adaalat as KD Pathak. Ronit Roy has been referred to as the Amitabh Bachchan of the TV screen and popularly known as “Big B” of small screen. He also owns a security business, providing security to Bollywood stars and production houses. Ronit has played the prestigious role of the legendary warrior Bhishma Pitamah in Balaji Telefilms' production Kahaani Humaaray Mahabharat Ki. Ronit judged a reality show, "Aajaa Mahi Vay". Ronit Roy also appeared in many Bollywood movies. Some of his popular movies are Two States, Boss, Shootout at Wadala, Ugly, Student of the Year, Luck by Chance, etc.
