Saeed Akhtar Mirza is a screenwriter and director. He is known for Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyoon Aata Hai, which was released in 1980, then four years later another hit film- Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho! in 1984, then Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro in 1989 and six years later Naseem in 1995, which grabbed two National Film Awards in 1996. He also directed television serials like Nukkad in 1986 and in 1988 Intezaar, which was a hit on television. He was born on 30th of June 1943 in Bombay.
