Growing up in Los Angeles, he found encouragement from numerous people in realizing his dream of becoming a game show host. In 1972, he completed his high school from Lakewood High School and graduated from San Diego State University in the year 1976.  With a degree in Telecommunications and Film, Bob took up his first job at KFOX radio. He first made his appearance on television as a sports anchor at KESQ-TV....
