In 2018, Sujan directed the movie Don: Taake Bhalo Laage, which was an adaptation of Dale Wasserman's novel Don Quixote. It was translated into the Bengali language by Arun Mukhopadhyay several years back. This movie marked the re-entry of Sujan Mukhopadhyay as an actor after a long 25 years.
