Rimjhim Mitra is an Indian-born film and television actress in Bengali Cinema. She came to fame after winning the dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhlaja Bangla” in 2013, which was aired on ETV Bangla. Till now she has done eight films and is part of ongoing popular television series in Bangla like, “Agniparikha” “Ekdin Pratidin” “Mon niye Kachakachi” and many more. In 2009, she was seen in two short films “Cross Connection” and “Mallick Bari.” Rimjhim, in “Cross Connecion,” played the role of Imon, a beautiful, contemporary dancer, and choreographer, with a stable happy-go–lucky boyfriend, Akash. The movie is about four young men and women, and their quest to find a perfect match for themselves.
