Madhubanti Mukherjee is an Indian director who works in Television and Film industry. She belongs to Kolkata, West Bengal. She went to St. Teresa's Secondary School in Kolkata. She completed her graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts in English Literature from Rani Birla Girl’s College. She has experience working as an assistant director with Acropolis and Shree Venkatesh Films. She has 20+ years of experience working as a freelance director in the industry. In 2009, she was seen in two short films “Cross Connection” and “Mallick Bari.” Rimjhim, in “Cross Connecion,” played the role of Imon, a beautiful, contemporary dancer, and choreographer, with a stable happy-go–lucky boyfriend, Akash. The movie is about four young men and women, and their quest to find a perfect match for themselves.
