Taran Kaur Dhilon, better known by her stage name Hard Kaur, is a British Indian rapper and actress.

Born 29 July 1979 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Kaur hails from a humble parentage. Her mother operated a small beauty parlour which was later destroyed after her father's death. Kaur's mother later remarried a British citizen and eventually moved to Birmingham, England. While in UK, Kaur developed her interest in hip-hop and started pursuing her musical career.

Her first musical release was Ek Glassy which fared well on UK charts. Hard Kaur debuted on Bollywood playback with the song 'Move Your Body' from the movie Johnny Gaddar. After her debut, she has lent voice to songs from movies Ugly Aur Pagli, Singh is King, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, Prince and Kismat Konnection.

Her acting career started with the 2010 flick Patiala House. She appeared in television reality show Jhalak Dikhala Ja 3 as a contestant. Hard Kaur's recent television appearance was in Coke Studio where she sang a Ram Sampath song with Bhanvari Devi.

Hard Kaur's meteoric rise to the top has not certainly been an easy journey. She had to overcome her personal obstacles as well as the conventional barriers that come with being a female rapper in India. She has successfully overcome it all and is still on the way to become one of the most memorable names in Bollywood.

Shreya Ghoshal, one of the most famous singers in Bollywood today, was born on March 12th, 1984, in Berhampore, West Bengal. Her father Biswajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and mother Sharmistha Ghoshal is a postgraduate in literature. She started singing since the age of 4 when her mother taught her. She started her formal training in Hindustani classical Gharana of music when she was only six years old. She was trained for 18 months after which she continued her training in Mumbai with Late Mukta Bhideji. She completed her graduation in Arts with majors in English. Her first on-stage performance was at their club’s annual function. Her first studio album was in Bengali in 19998 and was named Bendhechhi Beena, and her first onscreen performance was in Awaz Nayi Andaaz Wohi. In 1995, she became the winner of All India Light Vocal Music Competition. Her fame and career began with her winning a television singing reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Indian playback singer and album artist Sonu Kakkar was born in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Neha Kakkar, and Tony Kakkar are the siblings of Sonu kakkar. She started singing jaguars when she was five years old. She was the contestant of the V channel shows Indian Pop Star. Music director Sandeep Chowta gave her first song Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo, and this is the most famous song in her career.

Rakul Preet Singh is a famous Indian model working predominantly in South India. She has got a wide range of craze in a short span of time. She was born on 10 October, 1990. She was born in New Delhi to an army family. She completed her schooling from Army public school and graduation from Jesus and Mary College. She is a professional Golf player and has played National level golf competition. She is a huge fan of Sharukh Khan. Rakul has been passionate about acting since her childhood. So, she opt Modeling as her career. She started modeling when she was just 18. She debuted with the Kannada film Gilli. Next she played a small role in Tamil film, Keratam.

Indian top model and Telugu and Tamil star Anjali was born in Andhara Pardesh in 1986. Acting was her passion so she started her career from short films. Director Siva Nageswara Rao recognized her talent and offered her the role of “Swapna” in Telugu Thriller “Photo” in 2006. Start of her career was from low budget and low profile Telugu films.

Catherine Tresa was born in Dubai. She could neither speak any Indian language (except Hindi) but made her impact in south Indian cinema, especially in Kannada, Telugu and even Malayalam cinema. Though born in a Malayalee Christian family, she cannot speak in Malayalam either. Well, she is one of the Kollywood Divas, who experience issues with the language dialect, but even then makes impression on viewers with stunning look and mind blowing performances. 

She did modeling before making her debut in Kannada cinema while she was in Bengaluru. She walked in many ramp shows in Sandal region and got her first break in Shankar IPS opposite Duniya Vijay I 2010. Her latest release would be director Gunasekhar’s 3-D film ‘’Rudhramadevi’’, which will be simultaneously released in Tamil and Kannada too. 

Buzz in the tinsel town is that, Catherine Tresa might be roped in, to play a heroine character with Vishal in Pandiraj’s next flick. She also will be hopefully seen in Selvaraghavan's upcoming film with Simbu. With such big banners, the Madras girl will rule the tinsel town with some good films, although language will remain her issue always.

Vidyullekha Raman Vidyullekha Raman also called Vibhu Raman is an actress in Tamil cinema known for essaying her character roles with depth. Vinaya Prasad (or Vinaya Prakash) is a popular senior south Indian actress in both films and Television serials. She has acted in films in all four south Indian languages and has won the Karnataka State Best Actress Award twice in her acting career.

Vinaya hails from Udupi district in Karnataka. She was trained in music at very young age. She made her debut in films by performing a small role in Kannada film Madhvacharya  way back in 1988. Boyapati Srinu, also spelled Boyapati Sreenu, is an Indian film director. Boyapati Srinu hails from Pedakakani, situated in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. He has made his laudable contributions in the Telugu movie field. 

Allu Aravind is a film producer in Andhra Pradesh who is also a distributor in Tollywood. The film producer has produced films in various languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi too. He is the brother-in-law of actor Chiranjeevi, He is also the uncle of actor Ram Charan. He has three sons, Allu Venkatesh, Allu Arjun, and Allu Sirish.

Rishi Punjabi is an Indian cinematographer. He was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He worked in two industries, Hindi and Telugu. He began his career as a still photographer with Shaadi Ke Side Effects, released in the year 2014. Eventually, he stepped into cinematography.  Till 2006, he worked as an assistant or collaborated with others. After 2006 he became an independent cinematographer. His works include 'Sarrainodu,' which was released in 2016, and Dil Toh Deewana Hai, which was also released in 2016.  He also worked behind the cameras in 2017 for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Raag Desh.

Krishna Chaitanya is a famous lyricist in the Indian film industry, especially in the South Indian cinema. He was born in the city of Eluru, Andhra Pradesh on 2nd of May, in the year 1983. He did his education from CRR Public School. He further attended Sriram Engineering College, Madras University. It was while he was studying engineering that he became highly fascinated towards the film industry. It was when he was in the final year of his engineering that he decided to try his skills out and contribute to the Indian Cinema. He realized his potential and made his debut as he wrote a few songs for the film Sambhavami Yuge Yuge. He was, however, given his first break in the movie Yuvutha in which he wrote the lyrics for all its songs. It was after this that he had established himself as a talented and skillful lyricist.

Ramajogayya Sastry was born on August 24, 1970 in the small village called Arepalli Muppalla, Ipur Mandal which is near Narasaraopet of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh to parents Suryaprakasa Rao and Saraswatamma in an agricultural family. His father was a priest and an agriculturist by profession. His mother is a home-maker. He was the only child of his parents. He is a Computer Science Engineer who persuaded his B.Tech from NIT Warangal and his Master’s degree in M.Tech at IIT Kharagpur.

Sri Mani, an Indian Lyricist is known for his unique style. He mostly writes lyrics for the Telugu Film Industry, and has won many music awards for his unique work. He was born in Nandigama situated in the Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh, India. He started his work in the year 2011 and is currently on a roll. In his early life, his parents died, and he was living with his grandparents since then. When he was eight, he dabbled into writing short stories and essays. During his graduation, his grandfather died. He dropped out of college and started looking for a job. He went to Hyderabad, and there Mr. Sukumar offered him a job of a lyricist. He then wrote the lyrics of his first film, '100% love' and received a lot of appreciation for it. Afterward, he started writing more songs, and people started recognizing him.

Brijesh Shandilya aka Brijesh Kumar Tripathi is a Bollywood singer who pursued playback singing from a non-musical background family. He hails from Uttar Pradesh. Brijesh Shandilya was born on December 13, 1980, in Basti District of Uttar Pradesh.

The talented Jubin Nautiyal was born on 14th June 1989 in the city of Dehradun, Uttrakhand. He hails from a Brahmin family with roots in Jaunsar region. His father Mr. Ram Sharan Nautiyal is a politician as well as a businessman while his mother Mrs. Neena Nautiyal is a businesswoman as well. Jubin states that his father came from a small agricultural background and that he feels extremely proud that his father came so far starting from zero. Nakash Aziz, is an Indian playback singer and music composer in Bollywood industry. He was born on 24 February, 1985. Basically Nakash Aziz comes from a petit town Moodbidri, near Mangalore, Karnataka. He is well known for his hit songs like “Sari Ke Fall Sa” and “Gandi Baat”, both songs came from the movie ‘R… Rajkumar’ (2013) and another song ‘Dhating Nach’ from a film ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ (2013). All these songs are picturised on ‘Shahid Kapoor’. Nakash has also assisted a very famous and “The Living Legend Composer and singer” Mr. A. R. Rehman on Hindi films such as ‘Delhi 6’,’I’, ‘Rockstar’, ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Highway’. Before becoming a playback singer he worked as music composer for TV serials. He also composed for Marathi films like ‘Raada Rox’ and ‘No Entry Pudhe Dhoka Aahe’. Nakash comes from a musical family, and his taste was influenced by his father and uncle. They were famous for voice-alike of very famous singers ‘Kishor Kumar’ and ‘Mukesh’ in hometown Mangalore. During his initial days in Mumbai, Aziz got a small-time job in a reality show where A.R. Rehman was one of the judges. And now in 2015 he is performing in ‘IIFA awards’ with a new singer in the block, ‘Sonakshi Sinha’ and ‘Mika Singh’. Aziz says, “I want to be anything that music allows me to be, even if it comes up with a small musical idea like introducing a slight variation in my singing for Amit Trivedi’s Aisha title song”.

Sameera Bharadwaj is a famous playback singer in India. She is an established singer in the industry and has sung songs for films in different languages. From her childhood days, Sameera aspired to become a singer. She began learning music when she was in the second standard. Sameera also participated in a lot of television music shows. She was the runner up in Super Singer 8th Season. Her grandmother, Vaani was also a music teacher.

Sri Krishna is a Tamil Playback Singer, and he had contributed many of his songs to the Tamil industry. Some of his music were on the top charts, and which made him famous. Vishal Dadlani mostly known by duo name Vishal Shekhar in the music world. Vishal is an Indian film music director. He not only composes music in Hindi, but equally famous for composing music in Telegu, Tamil, or in Marathi. Actually dedication brings success to a person and Vishal Dadlani has justified his talent by giving various types of music. Vishal was born on 28th June 1973 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He first came to the limelight when he composed the movie songs in the films ‘Jhanker Beats’, ’Dus’, ’ Bluffmaster’, ’Om Shanti Om’, ‘Bachna Ae Haseena’, ’Dostana’, ‘Anjana Anjani’ and many such famous filmy songs, the present genres caller tunes or ring tones. Vishal Dadlani was the vocalist of Mumbai based electronic band Pentagram. He worked jointly with Imogen Heap for the song ‘Mind Without Fear’, for an episode of ‘The Dewarists’. Ram and Lakshman are twin brothers who work as stunt masters in the South Indian film industry, predominantly in the Telugu film industry. The two of them were born in 1968, in Prakasam, a very small village in Andhra Pradesh. They were into farming and looking after goats before getting an opportunity to work as a part of the stunt teams in movies. They were excited to move to a city from their village and to earn a good livelihood.

He was born in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. At the age of two, their family moved to Hyderabad, so he was grown up in Hyderabad.

He learnt Kathak (Indian classical dance) while he was studying 3rd class. Afterwards he learnt Bangra (dance originating from the Punjab region) extensively for eight years. He was even familiar with mime (imitation without use of speech) and gave many performances. He used to participate in lot of cultural activities mainly dance competitions.

He completed his engineering from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. Later on he went to USA and pursued Masters in Computers. He even joined in a job at Rediff. Meanwhile he also worked for a production house ‘Hollywood Bollywood’ as Model and for some while he worked as production assistant. He was married in 2006 and claims that movies are his passion.

He made his debut in 2005 through a film named ‘Vennela’, in which he played a role of Syed, a Muslim youth. His first project was a big hit and helped him getting many more chances. He moved to Hyderabad and started his acting career. He was offered one of the main roles in ‘Nuvve’ by Gopichand (Telugu film director). He got more opportunities in big movies like Bommarillu, Sainikudu and Rakhi. He was presently busy in Tollywood acting in supporting roles.

He also acted in a TV serial named “Mogalirekulu” which was aired on Gemini TV. Mogalirekulu is an Indian soap opera created and written by Manjula Naidu and Bindi Naidu (sister’s leading the TV serial industry as writers, directors and producers). It was started on February 18, 2008 and ended on May 24, 2013.

Ravi Varma is an actor who has been working in the Telugu film industry as a supporting actor and side character for a  long time. Born in Andhra Pradesh in a very affluent family, Ravi had hopes of getting into the film industry since his early days in school, where he was inspired by the cinema. He was raised in Hyderabad from where he completed his graduation in engineering. After his graduation, he moved to New York City to complete his post-graduation and he later got a job in NYC itself. During his time in New York, Ravi decided to go ahead and attend a few acting classes and he started enjoying acting a lot and decided to take a risk and quit his job and then he moved back to India.

The actor was born to producer Allu Arvind and Nirmala on April 8, 1983. H Hence, it makes sense to say that acting bug ran in him too. Allu Arjun is related to some pretty big-time Tollywood heroes (Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan are maternal uncles) and has kept their flame burning on the silver screen. Jaya Prakash Reddy or also known as JP is a renowned Telugu film actor. He was born in Sirvel in the Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh in India. He lived in Nalgonda for 30-years and settled in Guntur. Right now, he stays in Hyderabad, Telangana in India. His father works as a police inspector and stage actor, which influenced him in his early age. He worked as a school headmaster and as a stage artist before he became a film actor. 

He did a solo act in a sociological stage play entitled Alexander in October 2010. Prior to this, he made another solo play in Kotha Sainyam. He was debuted as an actor in the 1988 Tollywood film, Brahma Puthrudu, helmed by Dasari Narayana Rao. In 1997, he was starred in like a mighty factionist in Rayalaseema in Jayanth C. Paranjee’s Preminchukundam Raa. Since then, Jaya Prakash is best known for his Rayalaseema slang.

Raja Krishnamoorthy or famously known as Kitty, is a prominent actor, screenwriter and director. He debuted in large screen with the Tamil crime film, Nayakan (1987).
