Plot

ACP Shiva is a strict officer, who has been appointed to finish off the underworld dadas. The underworld dons Dolly, Uncle, Chitte and Cockroach are ruthless gangsters, who have no emotions at all. Shiva gives a tough time to the gangsters and they are waiting for the moment to dig Shiva. Did Shiva root out the gangsters? The answer to the question reveals the rest of the story.

Star Performance

As usual, Shivanna has given a class and mass performance. Dhananjay has delivered a superb performance and offers tough competition to Shivanna. Bhavana and Manvitha are not templated heroines and they have a right platform here to showcase their acting talent. Vasishta and Devaraj have done what is expected of them.

Analysis

Soori has brought a good script for Shivanna and his characterization is wonderful. We have to appreciate Soori for choosing Dhananjay for the role Dolly. Bhavana and Manvitha are the right choices for the role. We should appreciate Soori for not making the heroines just to romance the hero but has provided a meaty role for them.

Minor flaws that need not be zoomed

Verdict

Shivanna’s Tagaru showcases the raw underworld gangsters and it will impress the action film lovers and Shivanna fans. Shivanna – Soori combination worked out again! Sandalwood has got a good villain in the form of Dhananjay! Tagaru – Watch worthy!
