Usually, the love stories create hype among the audiences. And, this Kannada movie is no exception. Has the movie captured the audiences’ attention and reached all sections of the audiences? Read below to know.
Plot
The character Kumar in the movie is back to homeland India after spending time in a foreign country. His aim is to find his long-lost love, Jenny. During his much earlier days, Kumar and his family had moved to Karnataka following Cauvery Water Issue. But preceding that, Kumar had fallen in love with Jenny, a Kerala girl. The entire plot is about whether he finds her after return to the homeland and whether the couple rejoins.
Star Performances
The main characters in the movie have proven their worth. There is the barrier of language which hinders smooth communication between the lovers, and these funny moments cause giggles amidst the audiences. Other actors in the movie could have done a better job.
Analysis
The flick draws inspiration from a true romance between a boy and a girl in the backdrop of Ooty. There is a flashback which shows a young Kumar, who is involved in a romance with the girl Jenny. Then, the present time shows Kumar back home from abroad trying to find the love of his life. The flashback adds flavor to the movie.
Workers from the three estates of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu work in the estates in unity. Then, as the story goes, problems following the Cauvery water issue forces Kumar’s family to relocate to Karnataka. The suspense factor sets in and audiences are left with bated breath to know whether the lovers reunite.
