For college students entering their first semester, everything is about finding someone and doing something valuable. Eventually by their last semester, love takes a backseat while dreams for the future run wild through their veins and dreams. But what after one achieves their dreams?

Plot: Krishna is a tech genius. He develops an application which can charge the battery of the phone just by saying 'hello.' He is engaged to a family friend, Ishanya. Despite everything, Krishna still longs for Nandini, his lover in college. He had failed in his last year of college, a bad news his father died of. Crushed, broken and humiliated he breaks up with Nandini and focuses on his studies. Five years later, he has everything he wants just not her. In a confession to his to-be wife, he tells her about his first love. And after a series of decisions, he sets out to meet her once, before he weds Ishanya. Does he find her? Has Nandini moved on? Whom will he marry Nandini or Ishanya? For the above, watch this refreshing love story on heartbreaks and first love.

Analysis: 'Buguri' is a sweet film with the first half being good but slightly slow. The second half paces up ,and gets emotional and sentimental. It reminds one of how achievement is important for youngsters who are even willing to leave love behind. But love catches up soon. The movie has elements of romance, comedy and fun genre. The plot is efficient, and the actors play their parts well. The story is a refreshing take on life and romance. They say that one never forgets their first love. The cliché is the backbone of the story. Nevertheless, the movie is good. The songs and tunes are very melodious. The foreign locations are also beautifully captured. Some scenes leave the viewers choking on their tears and emotions.

Star Performances: Ganesh as Krishna is magnificent in his role. He portrays the two shades of his character well. One even feels the highs and lows along with him. He plays his scenes of action, fun, comedy and emotions with great passion. He is the star of the movie. Richa Panai Richa Panai is an Indian-born model and actress, w >> Read More... , a debutante, is also superb in her role. She is a treat to watch. She knows her game well. Erica Fernandes Erica Fernandes, an Indian actress who moved from >> Read More... is decent in her portrayal too. Sadhu Kokila Sadhu Kokila is a Kannada actor who primarily work >> Read More... is good, but he has a cameo. He could have been used better. The sentiments and narration of the movie are its King.

What's There?

1. Erica Fernandes could have performed better.
