Shriya Saran, the timeless beauty, is a much loved actor of the South Indian film industry who’s been reigning the world of cinema from nearly a decade. She’s acted in nearly 70 films in the languages of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English and Hindi and won a host of prestigious awards in all of her career.

A trained and expert traditional dancer, Shriya Saran was noticed in one of her dance videos and for the beauty that she was, movie offers came her way. Ishtam, the telugu film produced by Ramoji Rao was the first that she acted in and although the film didn’t really fare all that well, she was noticed. She was paired with bigger heroes like Nagarjuna and Tarun right after that when she acted in films like Santosham (with Nag) and Nuvve nuvve (first directorial of Trivikram Srinivas along side Tarun). Ever since that, she’s had no looking back. She acted in a lot of south Indian films after that, Tagore (starring Chiranjeevi), Balu (the Pawan Kalyan starrer), Chatrapathi (along side Prabhas), Sivaji (with Rajinikanth) being some of them.

Southscope award, Filmfare award, CineMaa award, Stardust award and Vijay award were won by Shriya Saran in her career, over and over again. Nearly ten years after Shriya Saran debuted, she still continues to compete with fresh talent bagging as many important roles and looking as beautiful as she did when she set foot in the industry.

She has worked with the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh khan, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi and RajniKanth.

The most remarkable film in Shriya’s career graph is ‘Chillar party’ where she played the role of toothpaste. She was the part of a kids’ team and her cute and innocent expressions was loved by both the audience and the critics. Apart from that, her roles, in ‘Carry On Shekhar’ and ‘Galaxy of Stars’, turned out to be successful ventures. Both these movies were adventure films with high innovation and adventure drama.

Rekha Bhardwaj is a dynamic and versatile Indian playback singer who can perform in different genres like Bollywood, Sufi, Folk and Classical. She married the Indian Director, Producer and Music Director Vishal Bharadwaj. Her unique style of singing makes her stand out of the crowd. Born in a middle-class household in New Delhi, Rekha studied music at Hindu College, Delhi. She always desired to become a singer but was discouraged due to her husky voice. Rekha and her husband Vishal Bharadwaj studied in the same college. They met each other in their college annual day program. Music was common in both which created a bond between them and later they got married.

Dolly Ahluwalia is an actress, who became popular for her works as a costume designer. In 2001, she received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for costume designing, and became a three-time National Film Award winner; twice for the category of Best Costume Design for her works in the films, Bandit Queen and Haider respectively and one as Best Supporting Actress for her outstanding performance in the 2012 comedy drama film, Vicky Donor. 

Dolly was born and raised up in Delhi and she has been very active in dramatics all through her years in St. Thomas. Then she studied at Delhi University, where she received a lot of trophies from the dramatics section, until her father saw an ad of the National School of Drama. Dolly’s father works in the government while her mother is a plain housewife. She is the youngest among her four siblings. Her father knew Mrs. Rita Kothari, a teacher from NSD, and that’s how she started in NSD. 

According to Dolly, she initially worked as a costume designer and then as an actress, but she has no formal training in design and acting. The designer-actress gained some knowledge from the National School of Drama and through some personal experiences only. It was her guru, Ebrahim Alkazis, a popular theater director, who gave her new direction and told her that she has a great eye for costume. She didn’t take any course, it is just her life’s observations that she wanted to translate into the silver screen. 

Dolly started her career with designing costumes for theater actors. Then she worked with Bandit Queen and later designed for popular directors like Vishal Bhardwaj for the films The Blue Umbrella, Omkara, Blood Brothers, Kaminey and Haider and Deepa Mehta for the films Water and Midnight’s Children. 

Dolly also worked in Hindi films like Love Aaj Kal, Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. 

She also acted in television and was debuted in the TV series Amma and Family in 1995. Then she acted in the big screen in films like Mudda – The Issue in 2003, Yahaan, Water and The Blue Umbrella in 2005, Aloo Chaat in 2009, Ek Noor in 2011, Vicky Donor and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana in 2012, Saadi Love Story, Bajatey Raho and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in 2013. 

Dolly is married to Kamal Tewari, who played as the father of Kareena in Jab We Met. They have been blessed with two children.

Zarina Mehta is the maiden name of Zarina Screwvala. She is an Indian Producer. She was born in the year 1961 in the city of Washington D.C. in the world-dominant country United States of America. Along with her family, she moved to India at the age of eight. She completed her schooling from an all-girls school called J.B. Petit School for Girls. She graduated with a degree of Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the esteemed St. Xavier’s College which is situated in Mumbai. She did her post-graduation from Mumbai’s Xavier’s Institute of Communications.

Pankaj Kapur is a prominent Indian actor and director who has shown his talent through various mediums such as theatre, television and film actor from Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He is a screenwriter, director as well as an actor, a multi-talented personality. Pankaj has appeared in several acclaimed television serials and films. Some of his film roles that are remembered till date include characters of Inspector P.K. in Raakh, Dr. Dipankar Roy in Ek Doctor Ki Maut as well as Abba ji, (based on Shakespeare's King Duncan) in Vishal Bhardwaj's reworked copy of Macbeth; Maqbool .All of these three critically acclaimed roles received appreciation, and the actor got National Film Awards for the same. Rahul Kumar is a well-known Indian actor who started his acting career at a very young age. He was born on September 9, 1995 in Almora, Uttarakhand, India to Suresh Kumar and Geeta Devi. His father is in search for a job so the family moved to Gurgaon. Right now, Suresh works in the Chancellor Club while Geeta works as a beautician. Rahul later moved to the city to pursue his acting career and luckily, he was given the chance to be part of the industry.

He continued working on theatre and at the same time as a child actor in the 1999 Hindi film, Chandaal Atma where he bagged the role of Chandan Das. He also acted as a child artist on Vishal Bhardwaj’ The Blue Umbrella as Tikku, a village boy in 2005. Later, Rahul acted as the son of Ishwar Langda Tyagi (played by Saif Ali Khan) in another Vishal Bhardwaj’ crime drama film, Omkara in 2006. He was also part of the Hindi film, AMAL as Chotu, the servant in 2007. He rose to fame after bagging the role of ManMohan or popularly known as Millimeter or MM, the canteen boy in the coming-of-age comedy drama film, 3 Idiots in 2009. The film stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. In 2012, he played the role of Bitwa in the Bollywood film, Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal. The film fails to make it to the box-office and received negative reviews. But, they got the Mexico International Film Festival’s Foreign Language Film Award in 2013. He was also seen in the Hindi film, Kutta Kamina.

Rahul came from a lower-middle class household and he, together with his elder brother was connected to Literacy India for a decade now. The organization have been sponsoring their education and Rahul has been doing theatre and a lot of acting with them. While Rahul was on his Class X at the Rotary International School in Gurgaon, the producer 3 Idiots, Vidhu Vinod Chopra also sponsored his education after the film. Education is important to him; there was even a time that he had to turn down a television serial offer because he wanted to focus on his studies. He also wished to pursue an acting course at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and when he’s already prepared, he will venture more in doing films. He also stated that when he grows up and already achieve something in his life, he wanted to help the poor people because he knows exactly what it feels to be like them.

Sukhwinder Singh, an asset to the Bollywood Music Industry, was born on 18th July 1971. He is a playback singer, who is quite active from the year 1992 until the present. There are a huge number of his fan followers, and he is gifted with an incredible voice. Apart from any element in any aspect of film making, songs sung by him made a phenomenal difference in its success. He has sung some outstanding numbers in the Bollywood film industry in the late nineties.

Rajesh Sharma is an Indian actor. His work is predominant in the Malayalam film industry. He was born on 1st December 1973 in Kollam, Kerala. He finished his education in drama from the centre for performing arts at Sopanam Kalakendram, Kollam, in 1996. His career was started as a drama artist, with his work diversifying over fifty dramas.

Deepak Dobriyal is a talented theater and film actor who has appeared in many successful Bollywood movies. He was last seen in the romantic comedy- ‘’Tanu Weds Manu’’ &’ Tanu Weds Manu Returns’- and is the most versatile actor of the current generation.  Since this actor is from a theater, he has the high-octane energy to do any serious villain role, which are often challenging and needs a lot of rehearsal before the camera.

Gulzar is the pen name of the author, poet and popular lyricist Sampooran Singh Karla. He was born on the 18th of August in 1934 in Dina, Jhelum district of British India to parents Makhan Singh Karla and Sujan Kaur. His career kicked off under the directors Bimal Roy and Hrishikesh Mukherjee. His songwriting career began with the movie Bandini, released 1963, for the tunes composed by music director Sachin Dev Burman. From then on, he went on to write the lyrics for many memorable songs of the Bollywood industry. He worked with magnanimous music directors like R. D. Burman, S. D. Burman, A. R. Rahman, Lakshmikant-Pyarelal, Madan Mohan, Rajesh Roshan and Anu Malik to name a few. The work of the trio Maniratnam, A. R .Rahman and Gulzar is much remembered in the industry. He has also given dialogues and screenplay for movies like Anand, Khamoshi, Saathiya, etc., He even tried his hand as a director through the years 1971 to 1999 during which he directed more than 20 films.

Abhishek Chaubey, an Indian Film Director was born on 30 March 1977, in Uttar Pradesh. He completed his schooling from Hyderabad in the year 1995. In college, he took a bachelor course in English Literature in Hindu College of New Delhi and graduated in 1998. As he had interest towards filming and communications, he studied Film and Television Productions in Xavier College of Mumbai and began his career towards direction.

Born in the city of Mumbai to a family of Parsi religion, Rohinton Soli Screwvala is an Indian philanthropist, entrepreneur, CEO, and founder of UTV Group, which included Bloomberg UTV, UTV Software Communications, etc. Since school time Ronnie had an interest in films and theater. He also acted in some skits in Bombay theater like Alyque Padamsee and Pearl. But he did not like working for others, so his stage career ended as he wished to initiate his business. Ronnie started on a small scale in the year 1981.

Samir Chanda was a popular Indian director and production designer, who was born in 1957. He worked in the Indian cinema industry, including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, and Bengali. He was well-known for his work in movies like Yoddha (1992), Dil Se (1998), Omkara (2006), Rang De Basanti (2006), Guru (2007), and Raavan (2010).

Shlok Sharma is a popular Indian director in the Hindi cinema. The talented director also works as a producer and a screenwriter. He entered the world of cinema just after completing his secondary education. He was passionate about making a career in filmmaking. His first short film was released in the year 2010. The movie was named ‘Tubelight Ka Chand’. He also worked as a writer in his first step to the cinema. This debut of Shlok Sharma won the best short film award at the Indian Film Festival Stuttgart in the year 2011. He was the production assistant in Vishal Bhardwaj’s movie ‘The Blue Umbrella,’ which was released in the year 2005. He continued working with Vishal Bharadwaj for his upcoming movie ‘Omkara.’

Anil shared the screen with actors like Tom Alter, Sanjay Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Deepti Naval, Dilip Dhawan, Naseeruddin Shah, Sajeel Parakh, and Saurabh Shukla. The movie was released on 1st January 1999. His second movie ‘Hu Tu Tu’ was released on 22nd January 1999. The movie was directed and written by Gulzar. It was Gulzar’s last movie as a director.

Nitin Wable is an art director. He is associated with the Hindi cinema, aka Bollywood Film Industry. He has Indian Nationality. Nitin is also a production manager by profession. He generally handles the art department in the crew section. Nitin has done several films in his art direction career. He made his debut as an assistant art director from project ‘Dil Se' in the year 1998. Aalaap Majgavkar is an Indian film editor and sound designer, popular amongst the regional audience for his work in movies like Haider (2014), Talvar (2015), Kaminey (2009), Dedh Ishqiya (2014), etc. Mostly known for his dominant involvement in Bollywood movies and Hindi TV shows, he is the son of the late film director Baba (Pundalik) Majgavkar. Born on 7th December 1987 in Mumbai, he had to share his school life between Dehradun, Mumbai, and Pune. After graduating from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, he started working at L.V. Prasad Film and Television Academy and completed his diploma in Television and Film editing and sound design with a gold medal. Since then, he has been a part of more than thirty major film projects. 

Samrat Mukherjee is an Indian actor born on the 29^th of May 1978. He hails from the city of joy, Kolkata. Samrat is from the Mukherjee-Samarth family tribe of Bollywood. His paternal grandfather, Sashadhar Mukherjee, was a producer and supreme supporter of Filmalaya Studios in Amboli, Mumbai. He is the brother of Sharbani Mukherjee. His cousins are the renowned actresses Kajol, Rani Mukerji and Tanisha and movie director Ayan Mukerji. 

Avtar Sahni is one of Indian’s foremost theatre personalities. He has directed and acted in several leading dramatic productions throughout his career. Sahni comes from the town of Ambala, Haryana. His fervor for the finer arts, particularly in the line of theatrics, secured him a spot in the prestigious National School of Drama. He graduated in 1984 with a specialization in direction and spent the following year studying ‘Interaction between traditional performing arts and modern theatre' in Manipur under a fellowship grant. He founded the group ‘ART’ - Actor’s Repertory Theatre in the year 2004. The theatre troupe sought to add unique features to the Indian drama scene and create a platform for artists to showcase their talents.
