1. Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan is an award winning Bollywood actress who was born in Poothamkurussy, Puthur of Kerala. Her birthday is 1st of January in 1978. Her parents are Saraswathy and P. R Balan. Her elder sister is Priya Balan and her second cousin is Indian actress Priyamani. She studied at a High School in Mumbai and in 1995, at the age of sixteen, she played the role of Radhika in the first season of Ekta Kapoor's TV series named “Hum Paanch”. In her teenage, she was inspired by Indian actress Shabana Azmi and Madhuri Dixit. She studied Sociology in St. Xavier's College and completed Master's in Mumbai University. She has appeared in several TV commercials and also she has starred in music videos. Vidya has briefly studied Carnatic music, Bharatnatyam and Kathak. She was listed as the "India's hottest vegetarian" in polls conducted by PETA in 2011 and 2012. In 2003, she commenced her career in feature film industry with the Bengali movie “Bhalo Theko”. “Parineeta” (2005) was her foremost Hindi movie. There she played the role of Lalita. Parineeta was a box-office hit and Vidya received the Filmfare best actress award in 2006, for her performances in Parineeta. Later, she appeared in “Lage Raho Munna Bhai” (2006) co starred with Sanjay Dutt. In 2007, she appeared in romantic comedy film “Heyy Babyy”. Heyy Babyy is a remake of Hollywood film “Three Men and a Baby”. Vidya played the role of Isha Sahni and the movie became an overnight hit. She got the opportunity of working with director Aziz Mirza, in 2008. Aziz selected Vidya for the role of Priya, in “Kismat Konnection”. The victorious period of her career as a Hindi actress began in the year 2009. She appeared in five different successive films, including “Paa” (2009), “Ishqiya” (2010), “The Dirty Picture” (2011), Kahaani (2012). Her prominent acting skills in those roles recognized her in Hindi cinema. She has won the National Film Award for best actress (Dirty picture), five Filmfare Awards for Parineeta (2005), Paa (2009), The Dirty Picture (2011), and Kahaani (2012) and Ishqiya (2010), five Screen Awards and Padma Shri Award in 2014. Vidya Balan got married to Siddharth Roy Kapoor, the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures on 14th of December 2012 in Bandra, Mumbai.

Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11, 1942 in Allahabad, India. Bachchan's father was a prestigious Hindi poet Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his mother, Teji Bachchan, was a Sikh socialite. Being his parents’ first born, he has a junior male sibling resembling to his name Ajitabh. Bachchan went to Sherwood College before enlisting in Delhi University to complete his B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) degree. He became a cargo dealer in Calcutta after completing his graduation. Amitabh Bachchan married to Jaya Bhaduri and has one son named Abhishek and one daughter named Shweta. Bachchan's father passed on in 2003 and his mother in 2007.

In 1969, Bachchan made his film debut in Saat Hindustani a film administered by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas which won him the National Film Award for Best Newcomer. By the early 1970s, Bachchan had collected fame in crowds as the "Angry Young Man" in an arrangement of successful Hindi gimmick movies. His featuring part in Zanjeer was especially instrumental in propelling him to fame as an action-movie film legend. Amitabh didn’t stopped gaining fame and popularity and soon he delivered another successful movie Anand in 1971. Anand was followed by movies like Reshma Aur Shera and Parwana in the same year.

Being family friend with Rajiv Gandhi, he got an opportunity to choose to run for seat in the Congress from the place where he grew up. He challenged Allahabad's seat of eighth Lok Sabha against H. N. Bahuguna, previous Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and won by one of the highest victory margins in history (68.2% of the vote). His political life, on the other hand, was fleeting in view of debates especially after Rajiv and he were embroiled in the now scandalous "Bofors" case alongside the U.K. based Hinduja Brothers.

In 1997, Bachchan endeavored to make his acting comeback with the film Mrityudata, produced by ABCL. However, the film was a disappointment both fiscally and basically. His vocation was spared with a successful film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (1998)”. In 2000, Bachchan facilitated the first season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC)”. Likewise in that year Amitabh Bachchan showed up in Yash Chopra's film industry hit “Mohabbatein” directed by Aditya Chopra. Different hits emulated, with Bachchan showing up as a more established family patriarch in Ek Rishtaa: The Bond of Love (2001), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) and Baghban (2003). Bachchan is also well known for his profound, baritone voice. He has been a storyteller, a playback artist, and moderator for various projects.

Despite a couple of film industry disappointments in the 1990s and the 2000s ruined his career yet, Bachchan climbed his way back up to as a topnotch Bollywood actor, gaining Filmfare and International Film Awards for his work on movies like Baghban (2003), Khakee (2004) and Paa (2009). His hard work guaranteed his prosperity and now he is known as the "King of Bollywood".

6. Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was born in Budhana in Muzaffarpur district of Western UP on May 19, 1974. He grew up with seven brothers and two sisters in his native village. He is a science graduate from Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar and after completion of his graduation, he worked as a chemist in a factory for a short while. He did not like the job and hence leaving it proceeded to Delhi to find some other job which might interest him. As he could not find a suitable job in Delhi, he even worked as a watchman for his survival. Within a short while, he watched theatres and felt interested in it. He joined a theatre group and started studying the art of acting. He graduated in acting from National School of Drama in 1996 and relocated to Mumbai to pursue his career in acting.

On arrival in Mumbai, sustenance and survival became a serious issue for him and he started doing minor and few minute roles in the television which was simply not enough either for his survival or to showcase his acting talent. At one point of time having been fed up with minor roles in TV, he decided to try his luck in Bollywood film industry where though the roles were minor and nondescript, the money paid was higher than that of TV serials.


After a very long story of struggle, he got the lead role in Pipli Live, Kahani, gangs of Wasseypur and gangs of Wasseypur-2 which turned the tables in his favour. He won a National special jury award for his performance in Pipli Live.
