She is very fond of reading all genres of books and spends time in watching game of tennis. She is also interested in singing.

The girl began her career with the Tamil film ‘Mugamoodi’, released in the year 2012.  In the movie she played the role of a care free girl to whom she empathies in real life.

Her talent helped her survive in the industry and later she was seen in some other moves like ‘oka laila kosam’ and ‘mukunda’, a Telugu film released in the year 2014.

Director Ashutosh gowarikar’s wife saw the exotic potential within her and thereby suggested her name to her husband. These days the actress is hence busy working for Gowarikar’s next movie, ‘Mohenjo daro’ starring Hritik roshan. The movie is expected to be released in 2016 probably.

Since the very beginning, pooja had taken interest in her mother’s e-commerce business and had worked with her as well.

Buzz is that pooja rejected Mani ratnam’s next movie. She says that her prime focus is in doing the Hindi films these days and so wants a break from the regional movies.

Ashutosh Gowariker was born 15 February 1964 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He graduated from Mithibai College with B.Sc. in chemistry. During his school days he participated in theatre performances, folk dances and music plays, which helped him acknowledge and improve his talent and led him to attempt to build his career in the film industry. Ashutosh Gowariker began his film career modeling in commercials by GovindNihalani and Jenny Pinto.

Hrithik Roshan with his unimaginable dance moves is praised as the Dance God of Bollywood, is the only son of Bollywood Director/Actor/Producer Rakesh Roshan. His music journey had begun at the age of 4 when he learned piano. At the age of 11, he joined the Maestro Ilayaraja's troupe as a Keyboard player. He made his debut as a composer with the legendary film-maker G.R.Maniratnam’s film “Roja” which came out in 1992. Some of his popular music albums were for the movies like Rangeela, Bombay, Dil Se and Lagaan: Once upon a time in India.
