29-07-2017/sanjay-kapoor.jpg

Sanjay Kapoor is a Bollywood actor. He had acted as the sole hero in some Hindi flicks. Later he went on to work in supporting roles. Born on 17 October 1965 Sanjay is the brother of Hindi superstar Anil Kapoor and producer Boney Kapoor. His sister-in-law is the famous Indian actress Sridevi.
On his personal front, Sanjay is wedded to jewelry designer and model Maheep Sandhu. They are blessed with two children.
The 1995 flick Prem was the debut venture of Sanjay. It was also the first flick of Tabu. While Tabu became famous Sanjay failed to make a mark in Bollywood. The flick Prem was delayed for many years and when it was released it bombed at the box office. However, Sanjay and Tabu performed well in the flick. The number Aati Nahi is a famous number from the film. The next flick of Sanjay was Raja wherein he shared screen space with the then reigning queen Madhuri Dixit. The film was named Raja, but it centered around Madhuri Dixit. Her dance movements were very much appreciated, and she acted well in the flick. The flick did well at the box office. Following Raja, the flicks of Sanjay, which were released eventually were either flop at the box office or average earners. Thus, as a sole hero Sanjay was not able to carve a niche for himself. He took supporting roles owing to continuous flops as a sole hero.
The 2001 flick Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe showed Sanjay as an obsessive, mentally disturbed husband. Esha Deol was paired opposite Sanjay in the film. Though Sanjay’s performance was appreciated the film bombed at the box office. Qayamat: City Under Threat, Luck By Chance, and Julie were few other flicks in which Sanjay’s performance was noted. The 2003 TV serial Karishma: The Miracles of Destiny also had Sanjay’s presence. But the flick mainly revolved around Karisma Kapoor. The last venture of Sanjay was Shaandaar.
Sanjay had also produced few flicks.
