On the way to the fire kingdom, Ringer escapes and tries to reach his people. He finds that most of his tribe people were destroyed by the fire tribe. Nicola and Jackson get to know that Ringer is the avatar, and he can bend any power like air, water, fire, and earth. They also get aware that the fire nation has waged war against the other powers to become a super power. The trio goes to the water nation to master the water bending techniques. Will they be able to defeat the fire nation?

ANALYSIS: The animation version of this movie created a huge expectation among the audience. With different dialogues, jest, and their modulations, the animation series impressed the young audience a lot. Except the action scenes, there were no dynamic and energetic scenes. Most of the scenes were slow and listless. The director seems to have concentrated more on CGI works, rather than the script.

STAR PERFORMANCES: The casting of the movie stirred a controversy. The animated series had characters from different ethnic. But for the movie, the director cast white people, which created a mild commotion among various groups of people. Dev Patel, with no qualities of a tough guy, maintained a reaction of profound disgust throughout the movie. Peltz and Rathbone were giving an awkward performance. Almost everyone's performance is amateurish.

WHAT'S THERE? Satisfactory visuals keep moving the movie. The cool stunts performed by the protagonists trio were engaging and interesting.

WHAT'S NOT THERE? The screenplay is mediocre. The framework of dialogues is weak. At times, the already weak casts were delivering huge dialogues without any emotions. The same musical score was repeatedly used. It will be interesting if different elements possess different jingles.

VERDICT: An expensive failure.
