Plot:
Five people visit the nightclub after their share of work all day when suddenly they feel like there was a flash of light that shone. Misunderstanding it to be a natural phenomenon, they ignored. Soon enough although, they realize that the flash of light was not any natural phenomenon but was an indication of an alien invasion who are overpowering the world of humanity using their electricity supplies.Â
The five of them stay hidden and come out only to seek some more survivors of this invasion. The story of the movie can be considered a fairly unique and interesting one are owing to the fact that this wasn’t an adaptation to any book or movie etc. The story was novel and therefore, seemed to have a charm of its own. Having said that, however, it wasn’t anything that you would want to spend your time watching.Â
There are several directorial glitches and goof ups, and there are questions that are left unanswered. The characters in the movie like a kind of maturity in them and therefore, more often than not, sound like overgrown high school kids trying to figure out answers to a mystery puzzle. They also lack a certain kind of depth because of which we are unable to find a connection to them.Â
This is the reason we don’t feel any sadness after they die. The kind of graphics used in the film lack in maturity, and it makes you feel as if this movie was made out of a budget cut. This could’ve been a more entertaining if it were to be a TV movie but doesn’t seem quite worth it to pay a visit in theaters. Having said that, we admit that the 3D version of the film looked better than most of the high budget movies.Â
Verdict:Â
As much as the film seems senseless and immature, giving just one watch can turn out to be fun.
