Plot
The uncanny family is back in an animated sequel with a comedy approach. Morticia and Gomez are agitated that their children are growing up and apart, doing quintessential teenage things and consumed with “scream time.” To recuperate their bond, they take Wednesday, Pugsley and Uncle Fester into their spooky camper and go for their last vacation together. The adventure takes them to some iconic locations in America, their mansion, and leads to the introduction of new strange yet hysterical characters. What’s next?
Analysis
Sequel to the 2019 animated movie, The Adams Family 2, feels more like a commercial film with minimal effort. The screenplay and the direction lack the spark, with little to no advancement in the plot since the last movie. The movie is mainly bland, and contains poor jokes though the animation is terrific.

The film is based on ‘Characters by Charles Addams,’ and it does no honor to that. The poor portrayal of really fascinating characters and a slowly moving plot. The dubbing work is praiseworthy, while the movie is plotless.
