Plot

An airplane is flying to Seattle. Two passengers in the flight find out that each other have watched a cursed videotape by Samara Morgan. As per the videotape, their deadline is nearing and when they find out this, the airplane malfunctions and crashes. After a couple of years, a professor named Gabriel buys an old VCR, used by one of the victims of the flight crash. He finds out a videotape inside it. Julia, a college student, who has been searching for her boyfriend Holt, finds some people discussing the cursed tape. She gets a copy from the professor, Gabriel. When Julia informs this to Holt, he warns her not to watch. However, she starts watching the video in a locked room. Meanwhile, Holt approaches Gabriel to save Julia. There he finds a truth that the video copied by Julia is larger than the usual. It means Julia’s copy has some extra footage than the usual. What happened next? Did Holt save Julia? Watch the film in the theaters.

While speaking about the performances, everyone who acted in the film has done their part quite well.

Analysis

We could say that F. Javier Gutiérrez has not directed the sequel but just remade the mixture of some horror thrillers. Nothing special in his direction. However, the plot seems to be interesting.
