A sweet movie about a cute girl and her family based on the Bestselling American Writer Beverly Cleary’s “Ramona Series “. This Flick depicts the life story of a Small girl who always indulges herself in mischievous activities that make her adorable to the audience and embarrassed to her parents. The Small Girl’s character played by Jody King is the soul of the movie.
Plot
Ramona, the youngest member of her family, is full of positive energy and her creative mind makes her do things that are not expectable from a kid of that age, and yet she makes us smile with those actions. The real story begins when her father loses his job, and their family goes into a weak economic position. Then she tries to earn some money to support her family by washing cars and selling awful drinks. But that effort only ends up with making her and her elder sister Beezus (played by

) embarrassed. However, her Grand mom arrives at the scenario, and she is the biggest admirer of Ramona’s acts. And the family incident goes on happening from an unsuccessful dinner party to offending Beezus and then a fight between neighbors.
At the climax, Ramona thinks she is the main cause for all of these happenings, and no one loves her so she tries to leave home. Then she finds out how she is the most favourite and beloved family member, and they reunite. The film ends with the marriage ceremony of Beezus, where Ramona gives her quirky input by providing the ring.
Verdict
A feel good movie with a beautiful story about a family. Ramona is adorable and very sweet; her screen space makes your heart melt. Overall a good movie to watch with your family members.
