Well, for those who do not know, Point Break Click to look into! >> Read More... is the remake of the movie of 1991 with the same name. The tight-walk rope for the filmmaker is to do justice to the original version or surpass it, but pitiably Point Break doesn’t do both.

Plot

Some criminals venture on a string of daredevil stunts for the purpose of robbing gems and money. And yes,  they seem to do the Robinhood act..give the money to the less privileged. Johny Utah, an ex sports- athlete (yes you heard it right..he has a painful past) who is trained under the FBI, plots a plan to defeat them. What is the outcome of his plan? Star Performances

Ramirez expresses a lot through his eyes but he doesn’t match the superb performance of Patrick Swayze Dubbed as the one and only “Miracle Man” and prono >> Read More... . Lindo is quite ok in his role. Luke Bracey Luke Bracey is a famous Australian actor. He is we >> Read More... is average in his performance; however he doesn’t have the onscreen charisma of Keenu Reeves. And with regard to Palmer, the makers have cashed in on her sexual appeal.

What’s there?

  • John Nelson’s visuals does full justice to the genre of the film.
  • The stunt scenes deserve special mention. A couple of scenes in the film will increase your pulse rate.
  • The movie is high on some 3d thrills.
  • The cinematography is one of the few saving graces of the movie.

What’s not there?

  • The CGI effects could have been  executed well.
  • There are lots of dangerous stunts including car chasing and explosions. To add to the over-the-top entertainment element women are shown in bikinis.
  • The movie fails to concentrate on the significant details that lead to a film’s success.
  • The movie is bland and there is no suspense element.
  • The movie has banked too much on pop music.
  • The movie is certainly devoid of logic sometimes.

Analysis

If you have watched the original then this Point Break of 2015 may not appeal to you. The movie starts off in a promising note but only deceives you in the end. Also, the reason that the Bodhi gang give for doing all the crimes could have been tackled in an apt manner.

Verdict

The sports crazy teen may like this movie.
