Iron Sky Movie Review

The movie Iron Sky Click to look into! >> Read More... hit the screens in 2012 and the flick is intertwined with comedy, science fiction and action. The movie’s direction is by Timo Vuorensola, and the screenplay is by Johanna Sinisalo and Michael Kalesniko. The movie revolves around a troop of Nazi Germans. The troop had made good their escape to the moon after defeat in 1945. They raised a habitat in the unseen portion of the moon where they reside. 

Their plan is to make come back to Earth and conquer. It is to be noted that there is a video game based on the movie. The German Nazis had raised a colony on the moon. Also, they possess flying saucers to get back to Earth when the time comes. The idea is great, but it has been carried out in a shoddy manner. 

The movie goes ahead in time and unfolds in 2018. Sarah Palin is the American President. As her tenure is nearing an end, she does a publicity gimmick by sending astronauts to the moon to win back her position as the American President. The astronauts land on the moon, but have a close shave with the Nazis who had developed a huge colony out in the darker side of the moon. 

On spotting the astronauts, the Nazis conclude that the right time for invasion on Earth has arrived. The Nazis board a massive spaceship to Earth and leave on a mission to conquer the Earth. Every nation in the world watches in horror as the Nazis’ huge spaceship darkens the skies. 

Now, every individual has to come to terms with his or her priorities in life. The idea behind the plot is unbelievable, and that forms the foundation for the sci-fi comedy. The movie provides less of amusement and bewilders the audience with plenty of gibberish in it.
