Plot

Danny Torrance finds out that he has the power to communicate with people, who have the same power, telepathic ability. Danny was only five when he found out this. With his power, he escaped from his father, who was mentally ill. After forty years, Danny is addicted to alcohol. Abra Stone, a youngster, who has telepathic ability, tries to connect with Danny. Analysis

Mike Flanagan had always made good horror films. In this genre, he had proved his mettle. The narration is fantastic and each and every scene makes us think about the next scene. However, nothing is guessable. The characters are portrayed well and the stars excelled. The BGM makes us travel along with the film. The cinematography and editing are perfect.
