A Hollywood comedian Max Morris tries to draw inspiration for his next movie. Then, he happens to come across ludicrously competitive parents of players of baseball. The comedian's son runs the baseball league. In the start, it looks like some story narration sure to provoke yawns. The entire movie is about a man’s desire to make a humorous movie. The movie’s director Jeff Garlin does the role of Max Morris, a Hollywood comedian. Max Morris observes the parents who are drawn to baseball games that his young son plays. Then, he tries to extract a plot out of the funny people among baseball audiences. . There is a shade of genius in the idea.
The director has put his sincere efforts into the movie. The plot does not appear cooked up. Some artists fit into the protagonist role easily. Jeff Garlin (the director), who did supporting roles in previous movies, has done the main role in Dealing with Idiots. Maybe he wanted to prove his worth as an actor.
