share an odd yet likeable chemistry onscreen. Adventure Land is another film (2009) in which Stewart and Eisenherg have worked together before. That was indeed a successful romantic film. In this flick they come to entertain us with the characters’ own absurd traits.
Plot: Eisenberg and Stewart are couples, living in West Virginia. Stewart, a stoner, is somewhat a phobic with dreary and negative thoughts. He has panic attacks and is deeply upset by even the small things. In this film Eisenberg forgets the fact that he is a skilled stoner.
The plot looks good in the beginning and it should be mainly attributed to the convincing performance of the lead pair. Jesse Eisenberg essays the role of a person who is distressed and neurotic with great finesse. The oddness of Eisenberg’s casting is the towering aspect of the film. , and Walter Goggins make a commendable special appearance in the film. Nima Nourizadeh has handled direction and stumbles midway of the film. There is a government conspiracy handled in this story which could have been presented well. John Leguizamo, thankfully, gives the fun element in the film.
The film has an alluring charm to it and this is mainly due to the lead pair. However, the chaos that takes place in the film has some cartoonish touch to it sometimes. The drawback of the film is that certain things are not told in a subtle manner. Max Landis’ script is just average. It has lot of violence attached to it.

has every scope to be a great entertainer, but it fails in some departments. You cannot expect Oscars for this film, but you can watch it once.
