Aftermath, directed by Elliott, has reportedly taken a leaf from real life events. Now lets see what the movie, which has Arnold Shcwarzenegger returning to big screen after two years, has in store for us.

Plot

A plane crash happens and it has a drastic effect on the lives of Arnold Schwarzenegger “I am back!” His career will always seem to come t >> Read More... and Scott McNairy. Schwarzenegger’s wife and daughter die in the accident. McNairy has also a bad effect through the accident and he is not able to save certain lives in the crash, he being the air traffic controller. He is filled with guilt. How are the lives of these two shown in the film? Will the two be able to forget the past? Watch the movie to know.

Star Performances

Schwarzenegger has an image makeover and he has shown substantial restraint in his act. McNairy has done a great job and brings life to the otherwise lackluster movie. Analysis The film gives a feeling of sadness and uncertainty throughout. Besides, it is not like the typical thriller that concentrates on the revenge premise; it is more bothered about the experiences of the individuals who are facing the wrath of the crash.

What’s there?

Arnold Schwarzenegger, for a change, is not seen using guns or essaying the role of a person who saves others from ordeals.

What’s not there?

At one point the movie loses the required life; one will not be able to connect with the characters.

Verdict

Though the movie has an interesting premise it loses track midway. However, one can watch it since Schwarzenegger showcases to the audience the emotional side.
