recently met some high officials of the Indian Navy, following which they announced a project on Operation Trident, due to which 4 December is celebrated as Navy Day annually.
In case you are unaware, Pakistan started the 1971 war by attacking our airfields with multiple strikes on 3 December 1971. In retaliation, Indian Navy attacked Karachi and destroyed the naval base completely. For this very operation, the strike group commander, Commander [later Commodore] Babru Bhan Yadav was awarded with Maha Vir Chakra, India’ 2nd highest wartime gallantry award.
Interestingly, this is the third time Excel is investing on a patriotic project, the other two films being ‘
