Kiran Shankar is a talented musician in the Indian film industry. He is known for the famous film ‘ Iddaram Click to look into! >> Read More... .’ Kiran hailed from Bangalore, Tamil Nadu and did his studies from Bangalore Higher Secondary school. He obtained his Bachelor in Science degree in Electronics and then did a course from the famous Government film and television institute from the city of Bangalore. He always had a musical streak in his heart. He got trained in classical music from the early age of four years by his mother, Smt. Rama Sathyamurthy who herself is a renowned classical singer. The Musician’s forte is Indo-western fusion music. He trained under Sri Gurucharan Garud, known as the master player of Tabla instrument. He had the training of fifteen years in the art of playing Keyboard. He became the member of the famous band Shoonya and performed live with them on various event functions and competitions.

Kiran worked for various Music directors on the composition of music for more than eight years which garnished his skills and provided him a platform to showcase his talent. With his creative thoughts, he invented a course known as ‘Swaraabdh’ for the fresher students who want to learn the different nuances of Music Composition. He has worked in five languages namely, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Malayalam, Hindi and English, and composed songs in each one of them. With films, he also had his hands in Advertisement where he created lyrical jingles and music for short films. He also gave music for social causes, helping out many NGO’s. Kiran taught Sudarshan Kriya Yoga (SKY) techniques to his students as the part of Art of living.

He felt that this method would enhance their capabilities by providing peace to the soul. He became part of more than hundreds of Music albums in seven different languages. ‘Endless Journey’ and ‘Parashakti’ A Kiran Shankar Project are the most famous ones. The movie ‘Iddaram’ gave a major break to the artist in the Indian film industry where he composed two songs, namely ‘Sai Premoko Chinukani’ and ‘Naals Niluvvella’ song. He also worked with the renowned Shakira studios for the period of more than five years and the ninth cloud entertainments. He was part of the Hamsarada creation in the initial time of his career.
