This versatile artist has many golden feathers in her cap. A Bharatanatyam dancer, theater personality, cinema and television actress, she indeed has achieved a lot in her life. Having had her childhood days spent at Madikeri, she moved to Bangalore after she got married to . That is when the things started falling into its place.

She started her initial career on Doordarshan (D.D) channel, where she was the anchor. Having started with anchoring, this versatile artist has spread her wings far and wide. Savigana on DD happened next which was followed by Venkataramana Govindaa. This was the turning point in her life and there has been no looking back since then.

She has acted in many serials on the television and the names include, Mukta Mukta aired on ETV Kannada. It was directed by T.N. Seetharam where she played the role of Shambhavi teacher, a serious middle aged woman, the bread earner of the family. This serial was very popular among the sitcoms. Jogula on Zee Kannada was another serial. We saw her on Udaya T.V for Naku Thanthi, directed by B. Suresh. She played a complicated role in this serial and it went to cross more than 1300 episodes spanning over a period of six years. She was also seen in Paa Paa Pandu on ETV. Badaku was another serial on ETV, where she essayed the role of Seetha. This was directed by Rajendra Singh. Seetha has also acted in Madarangi, on Zee Kannada which is a story about belief and love. Aluguli Mane, are a few other serials too.

Having achieved great success on the small screen, Seetha has shown her talent on the big screen too. P. Seshadari’s Beru, an art movie was her start.

She is married to Shashidhar Kote, who is an artist. They have a son Saagar Kote. She achieved yet another milestone by receiving a doctorate in dance. She is now known as Dr. Seetha Kote. What next? Production may follow next in her path.
