Ruthu Sai

Ruthu Sai is a veteran Kannada actress hailing from Banashankari, a small village in Karnataka is the youngest of 5 children in her family. Her father was a government employee, so she usually stayed with her grandmother since childhood and was especially pampered by everyone around her. She has been passionate about acting since childhood and began her t.v serials career quite early at the age of sixteen or seventeen after completing her 10th grade. She has been an average student in school with a huge liking for her regional subject Kannad and a strong dislike towards mathematics.

She married the love of her life after a love cum arranged marriage and is happy about the fact that her relationship with her husband is unchanged even after marriage. Ruthu began her career with a DDone show titled Gantu Nantu, the show was highly promoted but couldn't get the permission to telecast, after the show she tried her hand in modeling, because of her classic features and good height but later left it feeling a bit unmodest in the revealing clothes. Later she played the lead actress in various shows such as Male, Amoolya, and Kamadhenu, which aired on Udhyam Tv, she also played the negative lead in a show titled Classmate, it was aired on Suvarna.

Ruthu describes her character in Classmate as her most favorite character, and as someoneshe and her late mother could relate with. Ruthu has marked her main screen debut as a supporting actress in the 2018 film Ananthu V/s Nusrath. The film is a romance drama dealing with an inter-caste romantic relationship between an orthodox brahmin lawyer and a traditional Muslim judge. Ruthu plays a prominent character named Savitri in the film.
