Narendra Babu Sharma

Narendra Babu Sharma is a well known televangelist and actor. He became famous after he participated in the Kannada reality show Big Boss 1 on ETV  and ended up as a third runner up . This show made him a house hold name in Karnataka. The show gave him an award called Breaking Star award and was humorously given a slate, two rule books and a pillow. He also received the Paisa Vasool Entertainment award for providing day to day entertainment throughout the season.

Narendra Babu Sharma holds a degree in electronics   and graduated with high honours. He also has a doctorate degree from Allahabad University. Narendra also runs a trust called Sampoorna Varamahalakshmi Trust which offers pooja services.

 Narendra’s claim to fame has been his numerous astrological shows all the popular Kannada channels like Suvarna, Zee Kannada .He initially started off as a junior artist but became famous when he featured as a swami in the programme Brahmanda on Kasthuri Channel. He has acted in a couple of movies like Uppi Dada MBBS, Nandhi and Maharaja.

Narendra Babu Sharma has always courted controversy and his remarks against women created uproar. Similar controversy arose when he treated the actress Namitha badly during the reality show Big Boss.

He has his own Face book profile and keeps updating various astrological interpretations.
