Ramesh Yadav

Ramesh Yadav embarked on his cinematic journey by starting out as a distributor, specially focusing on distributing Tamil films in the state of Karnataka. He loved movies from a very young age. When he was only twenty years old, he started working in the film industry as a distributor, bringing Tamil films to Karnataka. In 1996, he stepped forward and entered film production with the movie Kubera. He partnered with director Shivamani for movies such as Minugu Taare, Agni Sakshi, and Kubera. Then he teamed up with the actor Jaggesh for films like Drona, Aha Nan Madveyanthe, and Gatti Mela, where actress Shrithi also joined his production. 

Despite some of his movies doing alright, Ramesh Yadav didn’t think he could show his way of storytelling ultimately. That is why he chose to make movies all by himself. He selected Sandeep, a new actor who was becoming popular, to be the main character in Vaali. He worked with director S. Mahendar on this movie, which was a remake of a successful Tamil film.

Although Vaali wasn’t a huge success, it still made a profit for Ramesh Yadav. After producing Valli, he made movies, such as Balarama, Don, Thaayi Illada Thabbali, Daasa, Krishna, Ashok, and Shanti, etc. Ramesh Yadav initially began his career as a film distributor and later transitioned into becoming a producer within the Kannada film industry. Ramesh was known for his persistence in making movies aligned with his vision, working with various directors and actors to bring stories to the audiences.
