Brinda Acharya completed her higher education at “Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya” in Panchavati, Uttara Kannada. She attended SDM College, Ujire, and KLES College of Engineering and Technology for her post-secondary education. She also studied dance at “Terence Lewis Professional Training Institute.” Brinda Acharya worked as a System Engineer for TCS – Tata Consultancy Services. She also worked as an Information Technology Analyst for Infosys.

Later, she joined the showbiz industry. Brinda appeared on the television show "Shani" as a member of the cast. The series' protagonist, Shani, is also known as the 'Karmaphala Daata' (The divine judge of deeds). Shani is one of the nine Grahas of India (Planets). Shani's teachers are Vishnu and Shiva. He was represented by Sunil Kumar as a child.
