He directed the blockbuster movie The Y, a Hindi psychological horror film that was released on January 6th, 2023. The Y completed a successful 50-day run in Cinépolis theatres. Giridev has contributed to both the Kannada (sandalwood) and Hindi (Bollywood) film industries. Girideva's previous film, "Zero Made in India," was released in theatres in 2016.

Zero Made in India (2016), his directorial debut, was officially selected at various International film festivals and received positive feedback from both audiences and critics. Due to the popularity of his previous film, he gained the attention of Bollywood producers and made his Bollywood directorial debut.
