Ananya Kashyap

Ananya Kashyap is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Kannada movies. She was born on the 11th of August 1995 in Mysore, Karnataka to Anand Sreenivasan and Rathna Sreenivasan. Thanmaya Kashyap, her elder sister, is also an actress in Kannada movies. Ananya is a B.COM graduate but was interested in theatre and movies. She joined the "National Drama School," where she learned various traditional and western dance styles. Her dream has been to become an actress since childhood. Ananya reveals that she wanted to be a part of the film industry. Initially, it was the fame related to the movie industry that charmed her to enter movies. Later, she fell in love with the task of acting.

She entered the Kannada film industry as a child artist through the movie "Halliya Makkalu," where she played a small role. Her first debut movie in a major role was "Neeru Thandavaru", a movie about the water crisis in Karnataka.
