Ravi Srivatsa has been an actor, director and writer in Kannada-language films since 1995. He has written dialogues and worked as an associate director for many films in the second half of 1990. Majorly, Ravi Srivatsa works as a writer and has at least 20-25 movies in his writing department. He debuted in a directorial role with the film Ee Rajeev Gandhi Alla, produced in 2002, but the film had to be delayed by 2007.
Ravi Srivatsa made several gangster-themed films, including Madesha (2008), Deadly Soma (2005), and Deadly-2 (2010). He also made a film, Dashamukha (2012), that was inspired by three different movies and plays, including 12 Angry Men (1957), Ek Ruka Hua Faisla (1986) and the Kannada play Aa Mukhagalu. Mr Ravi made the latest film, Tiger Galli (2017), based on an actual incident in Chennai. He has worked as an actor in only three films: Nalla (2004), Kiccha (2003), and Puttamalli (1995).
