. Born and brought up in Satara, he graduated from KBP College with a diploma in Digital Electronics Engineering. During his time in college, Amit was involved in a lot of local dramas and theatre societies. A humble personality with a versatile skill set, he bagged a lot of state drama awards while pursuing an MA in history from Kolhapur University. After finishing his diploma, Amit worked in private firms for a while before shifting permanently to his acting career and making his debut.
