Nimisha began her career in advertising and has since worked for agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather, Creativeland Asia, and Tonic Worldwide. She later worked in the core teams of OTT platforms such as Arre India and Zee5, producing content. She hails from Allahabad, a tiny town in Uttar Pradesh, India, and attributes her desire to become a writer largely to her experiences there.
