Amar Arshi

Amar Arshi, born Amarjit Singh, is an eminent Punjabi singer and composer. He is a native of Phagwara, Punjab. He lives in London. His father was a music enthusiast and used to play traditional instruments like dholak. Music was in Arshi’s gene, he gained interest in music and started singing at an early age. He began his career in the 1990s, and his first album was a compilation of three songs, Kala Chashma, Aaja Ni Aaja, and Rangli Kothi. The album became an instant hit and popular among the masses.
