In the year 2012, Superstar Mohanlal has released a book entitled Vellithirayude Madhavapurnima, which was based on the life of Madhu. The book has its English version also titled A Darling Lover of Silverscreen. Mohanlal handed it over to Shahnaz, whom Madhu acted in his first Hindi film.
In 1986, she essayed the role of Mrs. Neetu Ghanshyam in the box-office Hindi feature film, Naam.
