Surya portrayed the character of Prince, one of the four criminals who take Dr. Mira Anand (played by Tisca) and her family as hostages, demanding Mira to kill the state’s Chief Minister on whom she had to operate.

He was born and raised in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, where his parents run an art studio, Ashwa Arts. He has an older brother, Tarankit Sharma, with whom he co-founded an animation company, Tiara Motion. He made his debut on television with the supporting role of Aryan in Tony Singh’s romantic drama “ Kaala Teeka Kaala Teeka is an Indian Serial drama television s >> Read More... ” (2015), aired on Zee TV.

His role, though recurring, was circumscribed to sporadic and short scenes, thereby not bringing out his true potential. He later made a cameo appearance as a fraternity member in Andrew Di Pardo’s Hollywood comedy “The Rush Chairman” (2017). He had to face rejections from several auditions and it was after his 859th attempt that his hard work paid off and he landed the major role in Hostages. Surya currently resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra and is filming for his upcoming project.
