Pragyesh Singh

Pragyesh Singh is a Hindi Director, Producer, and Writer, better known for his prestigious work in Hindi Cinema. He was born on October 6, 1976 in Amethi, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His hometown is in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He did his High School education in Commerce at Uma Raman Inter College from 1992 to 1994. He completed his education in Commerce at Feroze Gandhi College from 1994 to 1997. He did a course in Management and Finance at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India from 1997 to 2003. In 2008, he was certified in International Standards at IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors). He is known for producing, directing, and writing movies like Shinaakht and Heritage of Thrall in 2018, Retirement in 2021, Doldrums in 2017, and apart from this, he has produced Meena in 2020, Dear Local in 2020, Chameli in 2018, Heropanti Chalu in 2017, and more. He has worked as a writer and also directed the film Chhoti Si Gujarish in 2017. He started his writing career in 2001 and wrote numerous Songs, Gazals, Screenplays, Stories, and Gazals. His film Shinaakht and Chhoti Si Guzaarish won more than 25 awards worldwide. He walked into the filmmaking business in 2015.

He is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has 15 years of experience in the field of Management, Finance, Legal, and Auditing at Top and Middle Management. He has served as a Secretary, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of ‘The Institute of Secretaries of India’ in 2009. He has been in the board of directors of 8 companies since 2006. His motto is “First I am a human being after that an Indian, then if required Hindu, and lastly Kshatriya”.
