Deepak Kumar Mishra

Deepak Kumar Mishra is an Indian filmmaker, writer, director, and scriptwriter. He was born on April 18 in Varanasi, India. He completed his high school education from St John’s School, DLW, Varanasi. For attaining education, he moved to Mumbai to pursue engineering. He always wanted to become an actor, but everyone suggested to him that he doesn't have the looks and face that is needed to be an actor. So, he dropped the idea, but later, he went to a theatre festival that was held by IIT Calcutta.

From his college days itself, he was always very facility towards writing Street plays and also used to direct them. To learn about filmmaking, he moved to work under Joshy Paul. What surprise came that time when he left a high paying job at Aerospace Research and Development, an US Air Force agency and joined the fraternity of filmmakers.
