Nusrat Jafri

Nusrat Jafri is a Hindi Cinematographer based in Mumbai. She belongs to Lucknow, a city of Nawabs in Uttar Pradesh, India. She lives in Mumbai with her husband, a son, and her cat. She completed her schooling at La Martiniere Girls College. Her interest in Story Telling and Art was developed at her school. She is a post-graduated in Mass Communication at the Mass Communication Research Centre, at the Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi, India. For pursuing her career in films, he moved to Mumbai. She has worked hard to establish her career as a female in the film industry, believes in promoting females on her sets of films, and manages to reserve a place for a female assistant in her team. She is better known as a Cinematographer for the movie Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz, directed by Onir, and produced by SAREGAMA.
