Nihar Palwe

Born on 11th April 1994, Nihar Palwe is an Indian producer and filmmaker. The talented director completed his graduation in Mass Media from St.Xavier’s College, Mumbai. He made his first-ever short film TRIP in 2013 when he was still in college. Nihar says that he learned a lot about filmmaking during the process of filming TRIP. After finishing college, Nihar Palwe started a production company along with his team in the name Desi Cut Productions. He wrote, produced, and directed the thriller short film NIGHTMARE. The film won several accolades and awards, including Best Editing and Original Background Score at Short of the Month’s July Online Short Film Festival 2015. He made his second short film Freak Show starring Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal.

Nihar Palwe got the opportunity to join as the third assistant director for the Phantom Films’ super hit web series Sacred Games. Nihar assisted Raykesh Omprakash Mehra in the movie My Dear Prime Minister (2018).
