Dan Soder or Dan E. Soder is a stand-up comic artist and actor of Irish origin and was brought up and raised in the United States. He was born in Connecticut and soon moved to Colorado. He had a tough childhood due to his father’s early death. He also lost his sister two years later. Dan went to the University of Arizona to study for a degree in Political Science and Journalism. While in college he began exploring stand-up comedy and used to perform acts. Soder got his start in comedy by performing at clubs and bars in the Denver area. Soon after completing his degree, Dan decided to settle in New York City in pursuit of better career opportunities. He made his television debut on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham in 2012.

He was seen in various cameo roles on the comic television series Inside Amy Schumer and Amy Schumer’s movie Trainwreck (2015). Dan’s career took off in 2014 when he became a regular on Comedy Central's The Half Hour. He starred in his own Comedy Central special, Dan Soder: Not Special, in 2016. He is also known for his work as a co-host on SiriusXM's The Bonfire, where he discusses current events and pop culture with co-hosts Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Schwartz. In addition to his stand-up and radio work, Soder has also appeared in several TV shows and movies, including Billions, Drunk Parents, Robot Chicken, and It Had to Be You. He has continued to tour as a stand-up comedian and perform on TV and radio, releasing several more specials, including Son of a Gary (2018) and The Standups (2020). Soder is known for his sharp wit and clever jokes, and he has become one of the most popular comedians on the scene today.
