DeVaughn Nixon

DeVaughn Nixon is an American actor who has been in the film industry for almost twenty years. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, the US to famous former basketball player Norm Nixon. His father played 12 seasons for the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Diego/Los Angeles Clippers. He has a stepmother and two step siblings. She is an actor, director, producer, and dancer. His stepsister is Vivian Nichole Nixon, who is a dancer and his stepbrother, Norman Ellard Nixon Jr., is a basketball player. In one of his interviews, DeVaughn stated that his mother is a very independent woman and that his parents taught him that hard work and education are very crucial in an individual's life. He follows it to this date. He had worked in various acting roles when he was a child and has also lent his voice to many animated characters like the one in the animated film ‘Bébé's Kids’. He has also starred in ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ and ‘The Bodyguard’.

He had temporarily left the film industry to pursue his studies and graduated from Loyola Marymount University where he studied television production and business finance. He has also worked as a mortgage worker with his father but, later on, joined the film industry back as he missed his acting career. DeVaughn always kept his personal life out of the spotlight and the media and hence little is known about him apart from the above information.
