Aarif Rahman popularly known as Aarif Lee, born on 26th January, 1987, is a singer and an actor hailing from Hong Kong. He is the youngest one out of three siblings. His dad belongs to Arab Malaysian community, and his mother belongs to Chinese (Hong Kong) community. His family lives in Sai Kung, where his father owns a cleaning firm. He spent most of his early life in Hong Kong and completed his school education from King George V (KGV) School where he was the Head-boy of the school from 2004-2005. Geoff Handley and Derek Handley both are his first cousins. Leslie Tam, Asian Millionstar fame, was his classmate.

He completed his graduation in Bachelors of Science in Physics from Imperial College of London. After completing his education, he ventured into the entertainment industry and learned to play various musical instruments like guitar, piano, and drums. He made his debut in the music industry as a lyricist for Janice Vidal's album ' Morning Click to look into! >> Read More... .' During the very same year, he released his debut album 'Starting from Today' which he single-handedly composed, arranged and produced. This album made him gain huge popularity in Hong Kong pop music industry.

He also made his first movie appearance in 'Echoes of the Rainbow' which aired in 2010. For this flick, he won many awards such as Hong Kong Award for Best New Performer and Hong Kong Film Director’s Guild Award (Silver) for Best New Actor of the Year. He was also awarded the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Original Song for the title song of “Echoes of the Rainbow”. The sequel was another smashing hit and also surpassed the earnings of the previous instalment. In 2013, he was rumoured to be dating Chinese actress Fan BingBing, who was also his co-star in a low-budget romantic-comedy called “One Night Surprise” which was surprisingly a huge commercial success.
