Johan Renck is a Swedish director and former singer (songwriter) under the Stakka Bo. He was born on December 5, 1966. He graduated from the Stockholm School Of Economics with a degree in Business. His father is a medical doctor & professor and taught at universities worldwide. So he has lived in many places like Kuwait, Miami, Norway, and Sweden. Renck became a very reputed personality after being a director of commercials and music videos. The French Magazine CB news dubbed him as the no.1 director and music video in the world. From 1991 to 2001, He was a singer-songwriter. “Here We Go” is the biggest hit of Renck.

He started his journey as a director in 1992, he joined the “Mekano Films and Television” in Stockholm, Sweden. which is a production house. He left Mekano in 1994 to join forces with his childhood friend, director “Jonas Akerlund.” They both established a new production company named “RenckAkerlund Films” R.A.F, which soon reached the top of its kind in Sweden. At the same time, he worked on his music project, Stakka Bo, with great success. A lot of his time was occupied by his music career. In 1997, He started working as a director full time, and soon he became a very famous personality worldwide. He directed three episodes of “Breaking Bad,” which led to working on “The Walking Dead,” ”Halt and Catch Fire,” and “ Bates Motel Bates Motel is a psychological horror drama Americ >> Read More... .” He prefers miniseries to direct so that he can put his excellent effort or input into focus.

So he did many series. He led “Chemobyl,” a miniseries. Johan has worked in many productions, art & projects, music videos, Films & Media. He constantly worked worldwide and worked with many famous brands such as : Levi’s, Dom Perignon, Nike, and H&M and personalities like “Meddona” in 1997. His first film, “Downloading Nancy,” was premiered at the Sundance Film Festivals on January 2, 2008. Currently, Renck is running his own production company with childhood friend Jonas Akerlund Named RAF (RenckAkerlund Films) in Stockholm, Sweden.
